Clean indoor Air  is a vital to good health. Indoor air pollutants can contribute to asthma and allergic reactions, chemical poisoning and some types of cancer. The quality of indoor air is a significant health concern throughout the state because Missourians spend an average of 90 percent of their time inside. Research shows that air pollution, Secondhand smoke exposure can cause heart disease and lung cancer in non-smoking adults and is a known cause of Sudden Infant Death syndrome, respiratory problems, ear infections, and asthma attacks in infants and children.The health effects of secondhand smoke exposure are more pervasive than we previously though
